Doctor of Chiropractic
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Dr. Todd Mortensen

Hi I'm Dr. Todd Mortensen. I was born in Brooklyn, WI a town of about 900 people 15 miles south of Madison. I attended Oregon High School in Oregon, WI. While at OHS I participated on the Track and Cross Country teams, and was the captain of both teams my senior year. Following graduation from OHS, I attended UW-Whitewater where I received my undergraduate degree of a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from UW-Whitewater. While at Whitewater I was on the Cross Country and Track teams --GO HAWKS! Following graduation from Whitewater in December 1994, I became a public auditor in Eau Claire and then later worked as a Corporate Accountant for a publishing company (Don't worry, I never worked for Arthur Anderson hehe!) Eventually, my interest in athletics and overall body health began to tug on me and I began to explore the possibility of becoming a Chiropractor. I had been treated by Chiropractors since I was in junior high and had really enjoyed the results. Since high school I had always been kind of the "team doctor" on my Cross Country and Track teams so it seemed like a logical fit to combine my interest in chiropractics healing benefits with my athletic background. I thus began my chiropractic education, by first taking several science courses at UW-Madison in order to fulfill entrance requirements of Chiropractic school and then in January, 1999 I began school at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN. The education I received and Northwestern was the BEST anyone could ever get anywhere. It gave me a broad background in diagnosis of both "typical" chiropractic conditions as well as other conditions as well as the skills and knowledge on how to manage and treat these conditions. I also have additional training in sports chiropractic and treatment of sports related injuries and conditions and I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

I now practice here in Elkorn, WI at United Chiropractic and look forward to serving all of your healthcare needs. I am available Monday - Friday and on an emergency basis by appointment.

Sincerely, Dr. Todd P. Mortensen, DC, CSCS
